About us

Welcome to the website for the Ecological and Evolutionary Genomics lab @QUB. We are part of the Institute for Global Food Security (IGFS) and the School of Biological Sciences in Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland.

We are a computational biology group who also use laboratory and field techniques to understand the genomic factors influencing phenotypic changes in organisms from Bacteria to Eukaryotes and their interactions with each other and their environment.

We use and develop tools for a wide range of techniques to achieve that goal, including transcriptomics, metagenomics and phylogenomics. For more information on our interests and activities, have a look at the sections above.
