About us

Welcome to the website for the Creevey lab @QUB. We are part of the Institute for Global Food Security (IGFS) and the School of Biological Sciences in Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland.

We are a computational biology group who investigate the genomic factors influencing phenotypic changes in microorganisms from Viruses to Prokaryotes to Eukaryotes and their interactions with each other and their environment.

We use and develop tools to understand genomic, metagenomic transcriptomic and phylogeneomic data. For more information on our interests and activities, have a look at the sections above.
